This session will focus on the outlook and intersection of labor, workforce and immigration policy in the 118th Congress. You’ll hear from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s head of employment policy and the Migration Policy Institute’s senior lead for immigration policy, who will discuss key issues, emerging demographic trends and legislative solutions to address nationwide labor shortages that are impacting construction and manufacturing sectors in the midst of an historically tight labor market and the lowest unemployment rate in more than half a century.
